Konra is Merit, so it’s money redefined
Konra Uses:
Tipping and rewards: You can use Konra via CCtip to tip others. In addition you can grant Konra to people as a reward. Imagine a game where you grant people Konra which they can trade into real resources.
Grant Membership or Access to Resources: A rather unique aspect of Konra is the ability to use it to grant access to resources and for membership purposes. A person either has Konra or they don’t; it’s easy to verify membership even anonymously via Konra. You can set dues or other things in Konra, either that has to be earned or purchased and held, or even paid back to your organization.
Peer to peer trade: Konra can be used in Peer to Peer trade thereby cutting out the middle man. Since it’s Merit it can also be used to facilitate bartering and sharing of resources.
Voting & Governance: Konra can be used for Voting rights or governance in your organization. You can even use Konra to grant authority in a group or organization, we have used this quite successfully in this manner and will use Konra in the future for governance too.
To Motivate: People love collecting Konra once they’ve gotten a taste of it. If you grant people Kaz (small amounts of Konra) for actions then they’ll be motivated and be more engaging in your community. We’ve used Konra to guide Community engagement, gain more social media shares, get referrals and other such uses. You can create a feedback loop with this, granting Konra in your organization then accepting Konra for various services and things back. Since it costs less than a penny to send, it’s perfect for motivating.
We’ve used Konra ourselves for years informally – trying out many of these uses in our own community. In later member – only sites we’ll show how you can use Konra in these unique ways.
